La Casa de Camino
Built in 1927 as a retreat for stars such as Humphrey Bogart, Douglas Fairbanks, J Paul Getty and Howard Hughes, this historic boutique hotel is one of the oldest, most treasured hotels in Laguna. Once used as a location for the movies "All Quiet on the Western Front" and "Evangeline", La Casa del Camino underwent a major refurbishment in 1997.
The lobby contains a phone booth taken from the original Orient Express. La Casa del Camino features a 2000 sq. ft. rooftop terrace with a 360 degree view of the oceanfront and coastal hillsides of Laguna - one of the most beautiful views in Laguna! The terrace is open to guests 24 hours a day - a great place from which to catch a sunset!
